A cheaper motor that fails again within a season costs more in labor and customer goodwill than a slightly more expensive one that lasts several years, particularly for repair businesses that absorb a callback under warranty. Buyers sourcing replacement motors at volume tend to get better long-term results by asking suppliers about bearing type, burn-in testing, and expected service life up front, rather than comparing unit price in isolation.
